On March 4 and 10, within the framework of AKTA’s Cyber Club initiative, seminars titled “Information Security Governance (GRC) and Best Practices” were organized at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.
During the seminars, ACOA expert Sinan Aliyev delivered a comprehensive presentation on information security management systems, risk identification and assessment, compliance frameworks, as well as effective control mechanisms. He also explained the role of the GRC approach in establishing a systematic, transparent, and sustainable security environment within organizations, illustrating his points with practical examples.
The seminars made a significant contribution to enhancing students’ theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of information security, while also introducing them to practical approaches in this area.
