A business meeting was held between representatives of the Association of Cybersecurity Organisations of Azerbaijan (ACOA) and the Estonian e-Governance Academy (eGA).
ACOA was represented at the meeting by Chairman of the Board Panah Musayev, Executive Director Rauf Jabarov, and staff members Sevinj Aliyeva and Nigar Javanshirzade. From eGA, Senior Cybersecurity Advisor Mr. Klaid Mägi and Senior Cybersecurity Expert Ms. Elsa Neeme participated in the meeting as part of their official visit to Azerbaijan.
The main purpose of the meeting was to explore opportunities for cooperation in the field of cybersecurity and to exchange views on potential joint initiatives. Both parties emphasized the importance of awareness-raising efforts and discussed the possibility of conducting joint activities in this area. In addition, discussions covered topics such as organizing seminars and training for small and medium-sized enterprises, preparing legislative initiatives, implementing awareness-raising projects in the regions, creating internship programs for youth, and other areas of collaboration.
The meeting was of particular significance for fostering long-term cooperation. The parties agreed to jointly develop new projects and to collaborate on research and development within existing initiatives.
