On November 14, 2024, a panel discussion was held during COP29 on the topic of the threats posed by cyberattacks to environmental protection.

Organized by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency at the PAŞA Holding booth, the discussion featured Elvin Balajanov, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA). In his speech, Mr. Balajanov highlighted the role of cybersecurity in safeguarding the environment, addressed key challenges and opportunities in this field, and presented recommendations for improving activities related to cybersecurity in environmental protection.
