A seminar on combating hybrid threats was held at ASCCA.

The next seminar was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) as part of the project "Collaboration with Transnational Internet Corporations in Combating Hybrid Threats," conducted by the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ASCCA) with the support of the State Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 

 

The seminar was opened by Asif Ganbayev, an associate professor in the Department of Information Technologies and Technical Sciences at the Academy. He spoke about the contemporary relevance of the topic and highlighted the significance of such events carried out in collaboration with ACOA. 

 

The project leader, PhD Tabriz Jafarov, provided information about the project, discussing the risks posed by hybrid threats in the information space and the methods for combating them.

 

Following this, ACOA expert Lala Karimova delivered a presentation on the fundamental principles of cybersecurity, security standards of transnational internet corporations, data protection, and information threats on social media.

 

At the end of the event, the students' questions were answered.
