On May 21, 2025, the city of Nakhchivan will host the “Cyber Sovereignty” conference, organized by the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan in strategic partnership with the National Cybersecurity Center and “Caspel” LLC. The event is dedicated to the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty.”

This will be the first conference in Azerbaijan focused specifically on the concept of cyber sovereignty. Its main objective is to facilitate dialogue among key stakeholders—government institutions, organizations, and companies—who contribute to the development of the national cybersecurity ecosystem.

The event will bring together over 100 participants and will feature keynote speeches from senior officials representing state agencies, prominent local experts, and executives from leading IT companies. Panel discussions will explore three main topics:

• “Cyber Sovereignty and National Security”
• “Human Capital Development in Cybersecurity”
• “National Solutions and the Role of Local Companies in Protecting Critical Information Infrastructure”
