The social campaign titled “Protecting Children from Harmful and Dangerous Information in the Digital Society”, organized by the “Regional Development” Public Union in partnership with the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan, is successfully ongoing. As part of the campaign, the latest training sessions were held on December 5 in Gabala district, with the participation of students and their parents from Bum settlement's Secondary School named after Tabriz Yagubov and Vandam settlement's Secondary School No. 2 named after Hikmat Rashidov.

At the training session, Rauf Jabarov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan, Elvin Akhundov, ACOA expert and Head of Cybersign, and Azer Isali, Senior Advisor at the Child Rights Protection Sector of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered speeches on topics such as digital threats, personal data protection, and safeguarding children's rights. They also answered participants' questions and provided detailed insights on the respective topics.

It is worth noting that the primary goal of the project is to raise awareness among children and parents about the proper and safe use of digital technologies and resources, thereby ensuring the protection of their rights.
