The "PeşəFest-2025" festival was organized under the motto "Learn a profession, build your future!" Its primary goal was to support young people and students in choosing a profession and to help them take the right steps towards their careers.
For the first time within the framework of "PeşəFest," the cybersecurity specialization was introduced. The presentation of the cybersecurity field was conducted in partnership with ACOA, and ACOA experts actively participated in the festival.
The "PeşəFest-2025" festival, organized by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, commenced in Astar in September. It was subsequently held in Bilasuvar, Tovuz, Goygol, Aghdam, Imishli, Aghsu, Aghdash, Gabala, and Khachmaz districts. In total, approximately 80,000 participants from 10 districts and Baku city took part in these events. During the awareness-raising activities across 14 professions, ACOA provided valuable information to participants about the importance of cybersecurity, avenues for development, required skills, and career path options.
A significant interest was observed in cybersecurity during the event. Notably, 18,950 individuals from Baku, 3,291 from Khachmaz, 3,795 from Aghdash, 1,684 from Imishli, 1,122 from Aghsu, 809 from Bilasuvar, 425 from Astar, 622 from Tovuz, 177 from Goygol, 235 from Aghdam, and 234 from Gabala expressed keen interest in the cybersecurity field.
