The "2nd National Cybersecurity Forum," marking the 100th anniversary of National Leader Haydar Aliyev took place on May 31, 2023. This event was organized by the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan, with A2Z Technologies serving as the main sponsor.

The primary objective of the forum was to facilitate collaborative discussions among partners and professionals actively engaged in advancing the cybersecurity ecosystem. Leaders and experts from relevant state institutions, private companies and organizations actively participated in the event.

During the Forum, which was attended by more than 350 experts, presentations were delivered by both local and international experts. The topics covered included, the national cybersecurity ecosystem, cybersecurity within the Organization of Turkic States context, critical information infrastructure security, cybersecurity solutions and start-ups, as well as education, human resources and awareness in cybersecurity. 

During the forum, a dedicated panel addressed the collaboration on cybersecurity within the Organization of Turkic States. Alongside our country, representatives responsible for cybersecurity from Turkiye, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were briefed on the ongoing works and projects in their respective nations. Subsequently, a discussion ensued regarding potential future cooperation prospects. The involved parties articulated several proposals aimed at establishing a platform for information exchange and fostering collaboration in the field of cybersecurity.

The participants of the event got acquainted with the products and solutions of various local and foreign companies in the exhibition section of the Forum. Also, during the Forum, an interactive competition was held and valuable prizes were presented to the winners.

Furthermore, the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan awarded membership certificates to new organizations and experts who joined the association.

As an additional information during the Forum, companies such as Huawei, Boston Consulting Group and CISCO were among the partners, while CyberPoint, Caspian Tech, Pavo Group, Code Academy, Simbrella, AzeRobot, Digitalks Technologies, STV-Global SA, B&B Security Alliance, MONT and B2B Group were featured as sponsors.

It is worth noting that the Forum is an annual tradition organized by the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan. Established in 2022, the Association brings together companies and organizations specializing in information technologies and cybersecurity within the country, aiming to contribute to the enhancement and growth of the national cybersecurity ecosystem.
