Elvin Balajanov, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Cyber Security Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA), participated in the "Cyber Security Capacity Building (Azerbaijan) ('21-'23)" project implemented by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in order to strengthen the personnel potential in the field of cyber security. He was on a business trip to the Republic of South Korea from June 18 to July 1.
Within the scope of the project presented by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan under the KOICA CIAT program within the framework of the 2021-2023 grant program and announced as the winner, a large team of representatives of the relevant institutions and organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the field of cyber security in South Korea. Obtained information about the steps, as well as made visits to various cities in order to familiarize themselves with the work of various institutions and organizations operating in the field. Also, negotiations were held in the direction of cooperation between ACOA and Korea Information Security Industry Association.
In addition, within the framework of the program, groups of representatives of the relevant institutions and organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan prepared and discussed various action plan drafts for the purpose of strengthening the cyber security ecosystem of our country.
At the end of the two-week program, ACOA Chairman E. Balajanov, speaking on behalf of the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with the Republic of South Korea in the field of cyber security, as well as the importance of implementing similar projects in the future for the mutual development of potential in the field of cyber security.
