As part of the ongoing cooperation between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) and the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA), another event has been held. The purpose of the meeting was to convene an open session of ACOA’s Innovation Committee to discuss current challenges faced by startups in the cybersecurity sector and issues within the wider ecosystem. The upcoming event titled “Demo Presentation of Cybersecurity Startups and Innovative Products,” planned for the near future, was also discussed.
At the event, Chair of ACOA’s Innovation Committee and Head of “Digital Umbrella” company, Ulduza Khalilova, presented the results of the Committee’s research on startups conducted over the previous period. This was followed by a presentation from Elkhan Shukurov, Project Manager of the Innovation Ecosystem Department at IDDA, who spoke about recent developments in the innovation ecosystem, the activities of existing startups in the field of cybersecurity, and related statistical indicators.
The event was marked by productive discussions, and the parties agreed to continue joint initiatives in the fields of cybersecurity and innovation in the future.
