ACOA (the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan) participated in the public discussion held at the Milli Majlis on the topic of “Hybrid Threats Against COP29.”
On October 21, the Milli Majlis Temporary Commission on Foreign Interventions and Hybrid Threats held a public discussion on the topic “Hybrid Threats Against COP29.” The meeting was attended by Members of Parliament, representatives of think tanks, civil society organizations, experts, and Deputy Head of the Parliamentary Administration, Rustam Mahmudov.
During the public discussion, Elvin Balajanov, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA), emphasized the continuous relevance of cybersecurity and ideological security issues. He highlighted the importance of demonstrating solidarity in these areas and shared his views on addressing unwarranted threats directed at the country, including cyber threats and baseless disinformation campaigns. Additionally, he proposed implementing comprehensive measures to counter these challenges effectively.
