The project titled "Supporting the Organization of Cooperation with Transnational Internet Corporations in the Context of Combating Hybrid Threats," submitted by the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA), has been selected as a winner of the 2025 Major Grant Competition organized by the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The project aims to develop joint cooperation with transnational internet corporations ("META," "X," "Google," "ICANN") in the context of combating hybrid threats and to enhance information security by applying the best international practices to national frameworks. Additionally, the project focuses on preparing a roadmap for effective measures to address disinformation, cyber threats, and other hybrid threats.
Within the framework of the project, the experience of foreign countries will be studied and applied to national practice. This includes examining the strategies adopted by the European Union (Germany), the United Kingdom, Turkiye, Russia, and other countries in the fight against hybrid threats, particularly cyber threats, as well as successful practices in combating disinformation. Based on this, frameworks for cooperation with internet corporations will be explored.
It is worth noting that, within the framework of the 2025 grant competition organized by the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a decision has been made to support a total of 407 projects.
