On July 29, a knowledge competition and the closing event of the summer school took place among the participants of the "Cyber Summer School - 2023" international summer school organized for schoolchildren and teenagers aged 12-16 years at Baku Higher Oil School. Sponsored by "Azerconnect MMC," "Caspel," "Cyberpoint," "Techpro DC," and "Huawei Technologies," the cyber summer school, organized by the Association of Cyber Security Organizations in partnership with "Gesco," "A2Z Technologies," "CISCO," and "Azerobot" companies, held its closing event on July 29. The event was attended by teenagers, parents, representatives from state institutions, foreign embassies, and senior officials from higher education institutions.

The "Cyber Summer School - 2023" has seen significant growth in scope and international significance this year. With 125 participants, it welcomed teenagers not only from Azerbaijan, Israel, and Turkiye but also from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan - member countries of the Organization of Turkic States. Additionally, children of national heroes who sacrificed their lives for the motherland also participated in the summer school.

The international summer school, conducted in English, was open to youths aged 12-16 with proficiency in English and information technologies. The Baku Higher Oil School hosted the training and practical seminars, delivered by experts from Azerbaijan, Israel and Turkiye. Over 20 trainers conducted more than 20 sessions on various cyber security topics. On July 29, a knowledge competition ("CTF") was held among the participants and the winning teams were honored during the closing event. All participants received certificates as recognition for their participation in the summer school.

The annual project, initiated since 2021, aims to foster friendly relations among summer school participants from partner countries. It seeks to unite teenagers with a passion for cyber security, both within and outside the country, while also supporting the growth of cybersecurity specialists in the field.
