The Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan has established cooperation relations with the Shadowserver Foundation, an international cybersecurity organization. This collaboration aims to strengthen information exchange in the field of cybersecurity and enhance national capabilities in combating malicious activities online.
Shadowserver is a leading non-profit organization that collects and analyzes harmful online activities, providing daily reports on these findings. The Foundation scans the entire IPv4 internet segment daily, checking 3.7 billion IP addresses, detecting and blocking 4-5 million malicious IPs, and monitoring over 400 families of malware. Its 12 petabyte database, daily analytical activity on 1.1 million malware samples, and 70 billion SSL records are considered one of the largest open data resources in global cybersecurity.
Currently, 201 national CSIRTs and over 9,000 network owners in 175 countries benefit from Shadowserver's daily free reports.
Within the framework of the newly established cooperation, Azerbaijan's ability to respond more flexibly and preventively to threats in cyberspace will be enhanced by utilizing Shadowserver's technical database and analytical reports.
The Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan aims to strengthen the country's cybersecurity ecosystem by expanding collaboration with international partners, increasing the efficiency of information exchange regarding cyber threats, and developing cyber defense infrastructure.
