Trainings are ongoing within the framework of the project "Fighting fake news in cyberspace" implemented by the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA)
The third training package of the project was presented to the participants at the Baku Youth Center on 22.09.2023. After the project leader Tabriz Jafarov's speech about the project, ACOA chairman Elvin Balajanov greeted the participants and talked about the progress of the project, touched on the relevance of the topic and gave information about the steps taken in the information sphere during the local anti-terrorist measures carried out at the beginning of the week.
Dr. Tabriz Jafarov delivered session titled "Information (or disinformation) Attacks and Their Mitigation in the Context of Non-interference in State Affairs and ICT experts Rashad Aliyev and Rauf Jafarov delivered a presentation titled "Passive Digital Footprint: Exploring Search Engines, Whois, Archive.org, and Other Sources."
At the end of the event, the representatives of the media were introduced to the activities of the center by the officials of the "Cyber Security Platform" located in the Baku Youth Center.
In general, more than 30 journalists representing various media organizations are participating in the trainings.
It should be noted that the project "Fighting fake news in cyberspace" is implemented with the financial support of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
