The 2nd International "Caspian Innovation Forum 2025" was organized in Baku, within the framework of the fifth "Caspian Investment Week," by the "Caspian Energy Club" and the Azerbaijan National Business Association (MİLLİ.BİZ), in partnership with "Caspel," a member of the ACOA Board. The forum attracted a wide audience representing various sectors, featuring a multifaceted program that addressed current topics as well as intersectoral collaboration, with particular emphasis on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
In his opening speech, Davud Rustamov, head of the National Cybersecurity Center of the State Security Service, provided a brief overview of the organization's activities, noting the increasing dynamics of cyber threats and the serious damage they inflict on the global economy. He stated that Azerbaijan's state information systems are designed in accordance with international requirements.
Jeyhun Guliyev, chairman of the Board of "Caspel," highly valued the relevance of the forum's goals and mission in his opening remarks, sharing his thoughts on the global innovative ecosystem and its future development opportunities. The forum included discussions across two panel sessions.
Rauf Jabarov, executive director of ACOA, spoke at the panel titled "Cybersecurity, Sustainable Development, and Innovative Industrial Technologies." Moderated by Natiq Pashayev, the CEO of "Caspel," the panel addressed current topics such as security approaches, the protection of critical information infrastructure, and enhancing digital resilience in the industry. Rauf Jabarov highlighted the importance of developing artificial intelligence centers for the strategic security and technological progress of the country, discussing trends in artificial intelligence in the region. Elvin Aslanov, the director of STDC (Sumgait Technologies Data Center), a member of ACOA, participated as a speaker and provided interesting insights about the role of data centers in overall technological development. The panel also engaged in discussions on updating cybersecurity strategies, aligning security ecosystems with global trends, and the implementation of new technologies in the industry.
Another panel focused on the topic "The Era of Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence," addressing modern digital transformation trends, the impact of artificial intelligence applications on economic sectors, big data management, and the expansion of digital education opportunities. Here, Farrukh Farajullayev, the chief commercial officer of "AzInTelecom" LLC, was a speaker.
At the end of the discussions, certificates of appreciation were presented to the speakers of both panels for their support in the successful organization of the 2nd International "Caspian Innovation Forum 2025."
