Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU) and the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA) collaboratively hosted an educational event focusing on emerging trends in the realm of cybersecurity. The event underscored the significance of incorporating cybersecurity education into school curricula.

ASPU informed AZERTAC that Rector Jafar Jafarov provided details about the university, highlighting the particular significance of cybersecurity in the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution.

Elvin Balajanov, Chairman of the ACOA Management Board, delivered a presentation detailing the legal, organizational and technical measures undertaken to bolster the cybersecurity ecosystem in our country. He also highlighted the initiatives and projects implemented by ACOA to enhance collaboration with educational institutions. The presentation underscored the vital role of prioritizing cybersecurity education within academic settings. Specifically, it emphasized the significance of imparting fundamental knowledge in the field to students in general educational institutions, particularly through graduates from the relevant faculties of ASPU in the future.

Subsequently, Rauf Jabbarov, Deputy Chairman of the ACOA Management Board, provided insights into the organization's initiatives, executed projects and highlighted the significance of cyber clubs currently being established in multiple higher education institutions with the backing of the Association.
