On December 6 of this year, the III International Conference was held in partnership with the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA) as part of the "Constitution and Sovereignty Year," co-organized by Mingachevir State University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Turkey's Gazi University, and HBN Group.
The event was attended by renowned scholars, professors, teachers, researchers, master's students, and undergraduates representing higher education institutions and research centers from Azerbaijan and 19 other countries.
In his opening remarks, Panah Musayev, Chairman of the ACOA Board, emphasized that ensuring cybersecurity is one of the fundamental conditions for sustainable development and digital transformation. He noted the strategic importance of strengthening government-academia-industry partnerships, applying scientific knowledge, and training new professionals in line with modern requirements.
Panah Musayev also highlighted the critical role of scientific approaches and in-depth research in areas such as artificial intelligence, cyber threat analysis, risk modeling, big data management, and the establishment of preventive defense systems. He stated that the scientific results and discussions presented during the conference would provide a new impetus to our country's national cybersecurity experience and be of significant importance for a deeper understanding of global trends.
Finally, he informed the participants about the projects implemented by ACOA in collaboration with universities, special opportunities created for students, and educational and research activities, drawing attention to the Association's contributions to the development of the country's cybersecurity ecosystem.
