The project titled "Empowering Women in ICT Skills and Digital Transformation in the Economy," has been successfully completed with the financial support of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the technical support of the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA) and the educational center "AzeRobot education", the coalition of public organizations, including the "European Students Forum-Sumgait", the "Antinarcotics" International Scientific and Analytical Center, and the "Azerbaijan-Romania Friendship Society."
The trainings were conducted by Musharraf Mammadova, a professional expert invited from the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan.
The main goal of the activities implemented within the project was to attract women to the ICT field, to support the strengthening and stimulation of the digital economy. Within the framework of the project, women were trained in digital skills and computer technologies, organization of e-commerce, legal regulation of e-commerce, as well as personal development skills and ways to succeed using these skills.
It is worth mentioning that the training sessions witnessed the active participation of over 300 women.
