The Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (AKTA) has been awarded the "Supporting Public Initiatives in Science and Education" grant.

The Association of  Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (AKTA) has been awarded the "Supporting Public Initiatives in Science and Education" grant.

The project "Development Program on Information Security for Informatics Teachers and Students," presented by AKTA, has been selected as a winner of the “Supporting Public Initiatives in Science and Education” grant competition organized by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

The primary objective of the project is to increase knowledge and skills in information security among informatics teachers and students, to foster appropriate behavioral models against digital risks, and to promote a culture of cybersecurity from an early age. Within the project framework, there will be professional development and awareness-raising trainings for informatics teachers, practical exercises and interactive sessions for students, and the preparation of methodological materials on information security.

 

It should be noted that AKTA has recently successfully implemented projects including “Supporting Engagement with Transnational Internet Corporations in the Context of Combating Hybrid Threats” and “Preparation of Scientific and Methodological Teaching Materials for the Information Security Specialty.”
