On November 23, 2023, the meeting, initiated by the Public Council under KOBIA, saw the participation of entrepreneurs from diverse sectors and representatives of companies affiliated with ACOA. During the session, tax-related inquiries on various issues, existing problems, difficulties and suggestions were brought forth by entrepreneurial participants.

Farhad Garashov, Chairman of the Public Council, opened the meeting with an introductory speech, underscoring the meeting's importance in scrutinizing entrepreneurs' challenges and considering their proposals. Questions from entrepreneurs were addressed by Ahmadov Ahmed, Head of the Department of Legislation Monitoring and Business with Entrepreneurial Subjects at the State Tax Service's Tax Policy Department, and other responsible individuals. A decision was made to formally submit entrepreneurs' proposals to the State Tax Service in written form, covering various issues for detailed consideration.

At the meeting, Rauf Jabarov, Deputy Chairman of the ACOA Board, conveyed the preferences of companies operating in the information technology sector. Representatives from "MONT" and "Digital Umbrella," both ACOA members, highlighted tax issues specific to the IT field.

The intention is to continue organizing such meetings for ongoing dialogue and resolution of pertinent issues.
