The final training sessions of the project "Protecting Children from Harmful and Dangerous Information in the Digital Society" were held in Lankaran.

         The awareness sessions held within the framework of the project "Protecting Children from Harmful and Dangerous Information in the Digital Society" have been successfully concluded. This project was implemented in partnership with the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan, organized by the "Regional Development" Public Union, and supported by “Nar.” It was also carried out in collaboration with the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children's Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and ADA University.

On December 11, the final meetings were held at Lankaran City Schools No. 2 and No. 5 with the participation of students and their parents. During these sessions, Tabriz Jafarov, Head of the Research and Development Department of the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan, Yusif Suleymanli, an expert from ACOA, and Azer Isali, Senior Advisor of the Child Rights Protection Sector at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, addressed the participants. They provided insights on the risks present in the digital environment, the protection of children's rights, and safety measures, as well as answered questions from the attendees.

It should be noted that the purpose of the project is to educate children and parents on the proper and safe use of digital technologies and resources, as well as to ensure the protection of their rights.
