On November 20, a delegation consisting of the chairman and employees of ACOA as well as the head of Cyberpoint, a member of the ACOA Board of Directors, started a business trip to the Republic of Romania as part of the "Visit of cybersecurity experts to international cybersecurity centers" project.
On the first day of the visit, which took place within the framework of the TAIEX - Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Tool project funded by the European Commission, meetings were held between the delegation and the head of the National Cybersecurity Directorate of the Republic of Romania and relevant employees. In the meetings held, information was exchanged on the cybersecurity ecosystem of the countries and the activities carried out in the legal, organizational and technical spheres in recent years. Taking into account the importance of expanding cooperation in order to provide cybersecurity more effectively and efficiently, discussions were held on potential directions of cooperation.
It should be noted that within the framework of the project, which will last until November 25, a business visit of the delegation to relevant organizations, companies and higher education institutions is planned, as well as participation in the largest cybersecurity conference in Central and Eastern Europe (DefCamp Conference).
