A scientific-practical conference titled "Green World and Cyber Future: Innovation and Security" has been organized.

On December 2-3, 2024, a scientific-practical conference titled "Green World and Cyber Future: Innovation and Security" was organized within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World". The event was held in honor of "November 30 – International Information Security Day" and was jointly organized by Mingachevir State University, Gazi University, Azerbaijan Technical University, and Baku Business University.
The conference, held in an online format, was opened with an opening speech by Dr. Elvin Balajanov, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan. In his address, Dr. Balajanov briefed the participants on the measures being implemented to ensure cybersecurity in the country, particularly focusing on the security of critical information infrastructure, as well as the current challenges in this area.
