On 12 March, within the framework of AKTA’s Cyber Club initiative, a seminar titled “SOC Analyst and Real Incidents” was held at Azerbaijan Technical University.
During the seminar, AKTA expert Farid Huseynov delivered a comprehensive presentation on the roles and responsibilities of a SOC analyst, the operational mechanisms of a Security Operations Center (SOC), and the stages of real-world cyber incident management. Drawing on practical examples, he explained the processes of incident detection, analysis, and the implementation of timely response measures.
The seminar continued with interactive discussions, during which participants’ questions were addressed and experience-based insights from real professional practice were shared.
The event made a significant contribution to enhancing students’ practical knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity.
