On May 13 of this year, a delegation from the Association of Cybersecurity Organisations of Association participated in the opening ceremony of the "Green Information Technologies Week" held at Mingachevir State University (MSU) as part of the "Green World Solidarity Year" initiative.

Firstly, along with other guests and the university administration attending the event, Elvin Balajanov, Chairman of the Board of ACOA, Farid Hasanov, IT Specialist at ACOA, and Rabiyya Khuduyeva, Specialist of the Cooperation and Education Department, participated in the presentation of startup projects by MSU students, and innovative projects by school students.

Following the opening remarks, Elvin Balajanov, the Chairman of ACOA’s Board, delivered a presentation titled "Prospects for the Development of Cybersecurity in the Republic of Azerbaijan" at the panel discussion titled "Green Cybersecurity Concept: Ensuring Environmental Protection in the Digital Age" organised within the framework of the event. In his address, the Chairman of ACOA’s Board provided insights into the country's cybersecurity ecosystem and highlighted the initiatives undertaken by ACOA to contribute to its development. He also elaborated on legal and organisational measures implemented in our country to safeguard the environment and cybersecurity, as well as to ensure the security of critical information infrastructure.
