The "Critical Infrastructure Defense Challenge 2025" (CIDC-2025) event will take place on October 9-10, 2025, organized by the State Security Service and the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security, in partnership with the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA).
Within the framework of CIDC-2025, training exercises titled "Cyber Warfare in Smart Cities" will be conducted. The aim of these training sessions is to strengthen the protection of virtual critical information systems against cyber threats and to enhance management skills in crisis situations. Teams of 3-5 members will safeguard their systems against simulated cyberattacks.
The primary aim of the event is to strengthen regional cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, ensure the protection of critical infrastructure, and promote sustainable economic development based on the principles of digital sovereignty.
