 The report event regarding the activities of the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan for the year 2025 has been held.

On December 18, 2025, the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA) held a report event dedicated to its annual activities for the year 2025. The event was attended by members and experts of ACOA's General Assembly, as well as leaders and representatives from partner institutions and organizations, including higher education institutions and the private sector.

Opening the event, Panah Musayev, Chairman of the ACOA Board, welcomed the participants and presented a detailed report on the activities carried out by the Association in 2025. He noted that 80 applications for membership in ACOA had been reviewed during the reporting period, resulting in the admission of 35 new members, including 8 legal entities and 27 individuals. As a result, the total number of ACOA members reached 168.

The Chairman also highlighted that a total of 79 various events, including forums, conferences, seminars, webinars, competitions, and training sessions, were organized by ACOA in 2025, with over 8,000 participants involved. It was emphasized that these figures represented a significant increase compared to previous years.

Regarding the expansion of cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, Panah Musayev stated that meetings and discussions had been held with more than 60 local and foreign organizations, institutions, and companies. He also reported on the business trips organized for ACOA's delegation to Turkey, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Estonia, and France with the aim of strengthening international cooperation.

Significant results were also noted in the areas of awareness-raising and enhancing human resource potential. Specifically, 20 seminars and webinars and 30 training sessions were organized during the year, encompassing over 4,000 participants. Additionally, it was indicated that collaboration with educational institutions had been expanded, contributing to the establishment and support of cyber clubs in 20 higher education institutions.

Then, Davud Rustamov, Head of the National Cybersecurity Center of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan, spoke about the emerging cybersecurity ecosystem in the country, the role of public-private sector collaboration within this ecosystem, the work performed by ACOA in this domain, and its contributions to the ecosystem's development. He specifically emphasized the detailed and transparent nature of the annual reports presented by ACOA. He also underscored the increasing global cyber threats, the importance of protecting information infrastructure, and the necessity for collective action against these threats.

During the event, Elshad Nasirov, Head of the Heydar Aliyev Academy of the State Security Service, and Adalet Muradov, Rector of Azerbaijan State Economic University, also addressed the audience, discussing the development of human resource potential in the field of cybersecurity.

At the conclusion of the official session, Rauf Jabarov, Executive Director of ACOA, spoke about the projects implemented by ACOA in 2025. He highlighted the research and development work carried out by ACOA, noting that five different projects were successfully executed during the reporting period. He presented the draft of the Association's Action Plan for 2026, indicating that alongside regular events focused on the Association's key areas of activity, several new and specially formatted initiatives and projects were planned for the upcoming year.

At the end of the event, members of the General Assembly, as well as representatives of partner institutions and organizations, expressed their appreciation for ACOA's activities in 2025. They also provided various feedback and suggestions regarding the planned activities for 2026 and proposed new initiatives.
