By a relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the "List of Critical Information Infrastructure Objects" has been approved.

Critical information infrastructure refers to the collection of information systems, automated management systems, and information-communication networks that ensure operations in areas such as public administration, defence, healthcare, financial markets, energy, transportation, information technology, telecommunications, water supply, and ecology. Any disruption to the functionality of these systems could cause significant harm to the interests of the state, society, and its citizens.
