The "CIDC 2025 – Critical Infrastructure Defense Challenge" cybersecurity festival concluded with a closing ceremony.
The event took place at the Baku Congress Centre, organized by the State Security Service (SSS) and the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security (SASIS), in partnership with the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA).
The primary aim of the festival was to share advanced international practices in the fields of critical infrastructure protection, information security, digital stability, and the application of artificial intelligence, as well as to strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors.
The highlight of the event was the virtual cyber warfare competition conducted under the theme "Cyber Warfare in Smart Cities." The winners of this competition are:
🥇 "RedBox" team from AzInTelecom – 1st place
🥈 "CyberCell" team from Azercell – 2nd place
🥉 "Bir Sec" team from Kapital Bank – 3rd place
It is notable that the first and second place winners, AzInTelecom and Azercell, are members of the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA).
The winning teams received a prize fund of 30,000 AZN: 15,000 AZN for first place, 10,000 AZN for second, and 5,000 AZN for third.
