Next Seminar on Hybrid Threats Held

The second seminar has been organized as part of the project "Collaboration with Transnational Internet Corporations in the Fight Against Hybrid Threats," implemented with the support of the State Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan at Baku Higher Oil School.

The project aims to enhance young people's knowledge in the field of cybersecurity, strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors in combating hybrid threats, and further improve collaboration with transnational platforms.

During the seminar, the project leader, PhD in Law Tabriz Jafarov, presented on the risks posed by hybrid threats and legal-practical approaches to mitigating them.

Rauf Jabarov, Executive Director of the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA), provided information about ACOA's activities and awareness-raising initiatives in this area.

ACOA experts, including Lala Mammadli, a representative from the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and Rashad Aliyev, delivered presentations on the security standards and technical requirements of transnational internet corporations. Lamiya Najafova, a representative from the Management Systems Institute of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, presented on the topic of cybersecurity hygiene.

During the event, students were informed about existing risks in the field of cybersecurity and hybrid threats, effective approaches to tackling them, and modern technological solutions.

At the end of the seminar, participants' questions were answered.
