On April 7, the Baku segment of the "NASA - Space Apps Challenge" hackathon commenced with the support of the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA). This hackathon, organized by AREA Academy and sponsored by the Innovation Center generated significant enthusiasm. Among the simultaneous competitions taking place in 350 cities across 114 countries, the Baku hackathon ranked among the top 10 worldwide in terms of participant numbers. During the hackathon's opening ceremony Rauf Jabarov, Deputy Chairman of ACOA addressed the attendees, acknowledging the impressive turnout and extending his best wishes for success to the young participants.

Hackathon winners will be announced on October 11. During the two-day competition, participants will present their projects or software products on various innovative topics. It should be noted that the main organizer of the Hackathon is AREA Academy and technical support company In4Tech are member companies of ACOA.
